Ed began his career with Western Exterminating in 1992. He excels in insect identification and the biology of insects, making him a valued trainer for new technicians. Ed loves everything about insects, and outside of work, you can find him searching out and identifying insects. He also loves golfing and fishing.

Dewayne started at Western in 2004 and has spent countless hours training under the owner, Verne Peterson, who has over 60 years of experience. Dewayne’s knowledge of residential and commercial construction gives him an edge in finding and getting to pest harborage and entry areas, making him very skilled at controlling pests, including termites. He also excels at installing Mosquito Misting Systems, keeping him in high demand for customers with outdoor living spaces. Dewayne’s experience and abilities make him an excellent trainer for our new service technicians. His hobbies include woodworking, home remodeling, fishing, and spending time with family.

Til was born in Ohio, but says he got to Texas as fast as he could! He started working at Western in March 2005 and came to us with several years of previous pest control and tree-care experience. Til has a laid-back, down-to-earth personality that our customers love, and he is the first one we call for those jobs up high—he is skilled at getting to those hard-to-reach places. Til is our go-to guy for tree treatments, general pest control, and taking care of those jobs that need a little something out of the ordinary. Til is married and has five children. His hobbies include woodworking and working on cars. He also enjoys working on the lawn at home and taking on special projects around the house. Till likes hiking, camping, and extreme sports, and he is involved in various activities at his church.

Ruben started with Western in June 2013. He tackles any task given to him and completes his work to perfection. His motto is “All Is Possible.” Ruben always has a great attitude; he shows up to work singing and leaves at the end of each day just as happy. Ruben loves spending time with his wife and children. He loves music, and his hobbies include singing and playing the guitar and drums. In his spare time, Ruben also enjoys cooking and working on remodeling projects.

Scott started at Western in February 2017. He was born in New Jersey and grew up in Tucson Arizona. Scott is a U.S. Army veteran who served from 1991 to 1995. He worked in retail for over 15 years but wanted a change so that he could spend more time at home with his wife. Scott is dedicated to service and is very dependable. He has enjoyed the field of pest control and looks forward to continuing his career. His hobbies include grilling, fishing, and watching his favorite sports team the Arizona Wildcats.

Brantley’s grandparents grew up with owner Verne Peterson, which is how Brantley was brought into the Western Exterminating family. He is very intrigued with insects and is always eager to learn more about pest control. Brantley has a passion for railroads and locomotives, and he hopes to build his own train layout someday. In his free time, he enjoys reading, writing, and cooking.
